Blessing of Backpacks: Back to School for kids |

Attention all teachers and students: Bring your school backpack (or briefcases, or bags, or whatever you got) with you to church on Sunday September 7th. We will have a time in our worship service for the “Blessing of the Backpacks” and send you back to school with a special prayer and blessing. You don’t want to miss this special moment. Come to worship on Sunday morning, September 7th at 10:30 am for the “Blessing of the Backpacks.” Please invite your friends from school, your teachers and anyone else who’d like to start of the school year on a positive note. You will be given a special keychain to hook onto your backpack so you remember all year long that God is with you. After worship we will also have a free BBQ lunch for everyone! |

 Welcome to the web site of Maple Leaf Lutheran Church! We are a Christian community located in the Meadowbrook neighborhood of North East Seattle. We are a group of caring people who come together in joy to worship Christ, serve others and love our community. We also have a lot of fun together and laugh a lot! We would love for you to be a part of that! Come visit us some Sunday morning. During the summer we gather together at 9:30am for worship.
